For a limited time only, to honour my Italian roots, I’m bringing you Lasagna Sturla, a handcrafted beef lasagna made in collaboration with Wairiri Buffalo and Feed The Soul Christchurch.
LARGE feeds 2-3 adults or two adults and two hungry kids
MEDIUM is for 2 hungry adults
Sturla is my family name and also the name of the town in Italy where my family came from before they immigrated to Chile. One of my most amazing food memories is making pasta with my grandpa on our ping pong table (yes, a lot of pasta) with the beef sauce simmering away in the background for two days. Lasagna Sturla is an homage to him and these memories of taste.
It’s never been so important or relevant to support our food producers right now, which is why I’ve crafted this lasagna with local ingredients, using buffalo milk ricotta salata, grass-fed New Zealand beef, and fresh pasta made with 100% New Zealand flour.
Comes freshly made and chilled. Ready to bake at home at 185C for 35-40 minutes.
Contains: beef, dairy, gluten, garlic, onion, and eggs. Does not contain nuts.
